I graduated from future hair school and Blanche Macdonald makeup and nail tech programs. I have worked In the beauty industry since I was 18. 20 years later, I am in my 10th year of business at In a Wink Beautique.
I continue to grow my knowledge of hair through our color academy, labiosthetique. I recently got certified as a curl specialist by surface hair and look forward to expanding my tool box, every chance I get.
My love for hair, beauty and color is surpassed only by my love for my family. When I’m not in the salon I’m taking care of our 5 year old son and spending time with my incredible other half <3

Hello, my name is Wendy and I’m a senior stylist at In a Wink. I started hairdressing in 86′ and moved to Vancouver 22 years ago. I love doing braids, perms, and old school hairdressing “big ol’ hair.” I’ve recently completed a foilayage class, air touch class and surface education.

Always wanting to master and provide the latest techniques to her clients, she continues to work yearly on studying and training. By specializing only in eyelash extensions, she is able to focus on quality, consistency, and a safe, damage-free application of eyelash extensions specifically tailored to her client’s facial features and lifestyle.

I attended the hair art design program at John Casablanca institute in Vancouver. After apprenticing under a master stylist I started to take my own clients and have been doing hair for around a year now! I love doing any kind of blonding services! My goal as a stylist is to make everyone leave my chair feeling better then when they walked in!

I attended the VCC hair program. I love learning and am continuously expanding my knowledge and skills. I especially enjoy being creative and working with fashion shades as well as expanding my knowledge of different hair textures. My main goal is to make whoever sits in my chair, through their hair, feel comfortable in their skin.

I graduated from Blanche Macdonald Centre in 2010 and have since built over 15 years of experience in the hair and beauty industry. Throughout my career, I have continued to advance my education, completing training with Toni & Guy in Toronto as well as a specialized bridal hairstyling program in Los Angeles.
My approach is focused on thoughtful consultations, attention to detail, and creating beautiful, wearable results tailored to each client’s individual style and lifestyle. I look forward to welcoming you to my chair at In A Wink Beautique.

I’m a 2024 graduate of Vancouver Community College’s Hairstylist program and have been behind the chair ever since. I’m passionate about creating beautiful hair while making every client feel confident, relaxed, and cared for. My motto is simple ” Look good, feel good” because the experience is just as important as the hair. I love it all but i especially love creating smooth, polished blowouts and tailoring customized foils catered to you and your wants and needs!

I attended the VCC hairstylist program offered at my local high school and completed my level 1! I love learning more about hair every single day and am eager to expand my skills in every aspect! I love all types of art but especially oil painting, i will be moving onto my 6th year of painting classes in the fall!

Abby is an Independent stylist with 11 years of experience behind the chair, specializing in Blondes, Balayage, and Haircutting techniques. Always keeping up to date on trends and education, Abby loves creating new looks from lived in blondes to vivid colours.

Tracey has been in the the hair industry since 2003, Completing her training in Ireland and then moving to Vancouver in 2007. Tracey continually updates her cutting and colouring techniques, recently completing a course at the Vidal Sasson Acadamy.
Specializing in Blondes, Balayage, Vivids and Pastels. Tracey is known for her a natural, sun-kissed, lived in blondes. She creates a seem-less grow out every time. Tracey loves creating a flawless look that accentuates each clients individuality and lifestyle, leading to stunning results every time.

Amanda has over 30 years experience in the community as a hair stylist. She is a full service hair stylist creating cuts, colours, perms, blowouts, who specializes in updo’s for special occasions, and available for hire of updo classes.
